Background

The contract for the current testing village / living space is coming to an end. The government have also stated that we are not allowed to install any structures on the roof

I was able to negotiate with China Merchant Group (their banks being the top 4 in China) for office locations.

They provided 4 workspaces/offices. The first 3 somewhat fit our needs but the 4th one was really nice in terms of space, lighting, workspace, permission to install panels and SZ-testing shed.

Tasks/Challenges

• Find office spaces that has a rooftop
  • Found CMG and they offered several offices

  • It was tough to find a way to carve out a solar shed space
• Delegate with CMG for solar setup
  • Get approval from building management
    • CMG owns the floor and therefore did not have to negotiate with Gov or building management.
    • Render 3D drawing to show CMG of final setup
• Find contractors (Luckily the same contractor can do all)
  • Find a contractor to disassemble and deconstruct the existing solar shed
  • Find a contractor to reassemble Solar Shed
  • Find a contractor to render a 3d drawing of the solar shed
